OWNER / Team Leader
I have been a CRNA for 10 years in MA and CT. I have also been involved with my state association for over 10 years and continue to chair the publications committee. As anesthetists, it is important that we remember to enjoy life as well as our work. Therefore, I wanted to combine my passion for nurse anesthesia with my passion for diving. I hope you'll join us on some amazing and relaxing trips!
I'm a CRNA lover of diving. I've been diving since 2004 and have dove in some really cool places like Bora Bora, Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, Belize, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Barbados, and Mexico. I have a large global bucket list of places I'd like to dive. I can not wait to enjoy some beautiful deep water excursion with many of my CRNA colleagues!
Denise is a lifelong resident of CT. She has been a nurse for 30+ years and a CRNA, working in acute care, for over 15 years. She is active in her state Nurse Anesthesia association and has been on over a dozen medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. When not in-country on missions trips, she along with a colleague, prepares anesthesia supplies for the four trips a year her group goes on. She is also very active in her local community with her two certified therapy dogs, pugs Sailor and Scarlett. The pugs are registered Reading Education Assistance Dogs® (R.E.A.D.®) and Denise is a Licensed R.E.A.D. Instructor, which means, in addition to being literacy mentors with her dogs to children learning to read, she also educates other therapy dog handlers about the R.E.A.D. Program.
